That's apparently how more than 20 people spent part of a Dierks Bentley concert Friday (6/2) in Hartford, CT. According to the Hartford Courant, 21 people were arrested for underage drinking in the parking lot of the city's Xfinity Theatre. Twenty-one others from inside the concert were transported to area hospitals.
Though 21 medical transports is considered high for concerts in the area, Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley subsequently noted that transports were down compared to a previous concert by rapper Future. That show saw 70 people taken to the hospital.
"We don't look at 21 [medical transports] as a success," Foley said Saturday afternoon according to the paper. "It's certainly a different crowd, different demographic. Future brings much more younger kids."
Dierks is currently in the middle of his What The Hell World Tour with stops planned in the coming weeks in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida and New York. He'll also appear this week in Nashville at the 2017 CMA Music Festival and 2017 CMT Music Awards, where he's nominated for Video and Collaborative Video of the Year. Read more on the CMTMAs here.
