Garth Brooks Tops Highest-Paid Country Musicians List

When the world got word in 2014 that Garth Brooks was coming out of retirement and would begin touring again, some wondered how successful he could be. Yes, he was a global superstar in the '90s, but that was then. What about now?

Forbes offered a pretty definitive answer this week in its list of The World's Highest-Paid Country Musicians 2017. The Garth man topped 'em all. The country megastar raked in an impressive $60 million, besting his closest competition (Kenny Chesney) by $17.5 million. Here's how everyone else did.
