After the Country Music Association announced media restriction centered around the CMA Awards, it seems the CMA has had a change of heart.

Originally, the restrictions prohibited media agencies from asking artists about the following topics:

  • The Mass Shooting in Las Vegas
  • Anything to do with guns
  • Politics

However, after the news surfaced, several country artists took to social media to voice their disapproval — including long-time co-host Brad Paisley.

According to News 13 Now, The Country Music Association released a press release on Friday that lifted the restrictions.

The CMA Awards will air tomorrow evening on the ABC Network.
