Garth Brooks rules again as CMA Entertainer of the Year.

The result isn't surprising given that the superstar has played to more than six million people since launching his most recent tour three years ago. "Miranda [Lambert] said it best, Little Big Town said it best: We're a family," Garth said in his acceptance speech on the 51st annual show. "All you guys down here on the front row: We can all agree on one thing. Let's all raise a toast to the band and crew. I was talking to Kelsea [Ballerini] backstage about how we get to do this for a living ... the most important thing other than God is you [the fans], I love you guys. We're a family." Garth beat out Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Eric Church and Chris Stapleton for the honor.

The end of Garth's long-running North American tour is quickly approaching with a final show scheduled for December 16th in Nashville, though he'll surely add others as it sells out. "I'm just not sure I can pound this grind like this again," Garth recently told Billboard. Though he may slow down in the coming months, he's certainly not going away. "I'm having the best time," he explained. "My retiring days are behind me."
