Hotel In Georgia Evacuated After Gunman Reported In Building

Guests staying at a hotel in Georgia were evacuated after reports of a gunman in the building surfaced.

Police and members of the SWAT team in McDonough responded to a call for help at the Home 2 Suites this morning.

When they arrived, officers searched for the suspect while evacuating the hotel.

According to CBS46, the man was reportedly armed with both a handgun and a rifle.

Authorities have since said that they have a person of interest in custody.

At this time, it is not known if anyone sustained any injuries as a result of the gunman being on the premises.
