Country singer Neal McCoy has announced that he recently lost his mother.

In a Facebook post, McCoy revealed that his mom had gone to heaven.

He asked fans not to grieve as he knows his mom is in a much better place now.

In another Facebook post, the country singer thanked his fans for all of their thoughts and prayers and let everyone know he and his family were with his mom at the time she passed away.

McCoy went on to recite the Pledge of Allegiance during a Facebook Live, because his mother loved the Pledge of Allegiance.
