Dana Haggard died earlier this week, as reported by her brother on social media.
Ben Haggard took to Instagram to say he knows she is hugging their father's arm now, just like in the photograph.
According to The Boot, at the time of her death, Dana was 61.
At this time, the cause of her death is not know, however, Ben suggested she could have died from heartbreak as the the anniversary of Merle's passing had recently come around.
Dana passed away in her sleep.
