Miranda Lambert was married over the weekend to Brendan Mcloughlin, a New York City police officer from Staten Island.

The couple were seen on Saturday strolling the streets of New York City hand in hand. So who is this new guy?

According to People, Brendan was recently praised for his work as a member of the New York Police Department. The NYPD's Twitter account applauded the 27-year-old officer for apprehending a “perpetrator in a bank robbery in progress.”

They said in March of 2018, "This week these fine officers showed what we do best in #Midtown. PO McLoughlin apprehended perpetrator in a bank robbery in progress & PO Donato had a pick up arrest of a truck burglary closing out several open complaints. Job well done guys!! #ItsWhatWeDo #NYPDprotecting"

While there's no indication where Miranda and Brendan met, she has always been a big supporter of law enforcement as her father has been a private investigator in Texas for years.

This is Lambert's second marriage. She was married to Blake Shelton in 2011 and the couple divorced in 2015. Although McLoughlin does have a child from a previous relationship, this is his first marriage.
