Kacey Musgraves Makes First Oscar Appearance

Kacey Musgraves made her Oscar debut on ABC as she introduced an Original Song nominee from the Netflix movie The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs.

Looking glowing in an all pink puff dress, Musgraves, who has seen a lot of screen time tonight, announced the performance saying in part of the song, "It's fresh but yet you feel like you've heard it your whole life. It could have been an absurd and comical moment in the film but the song elevates it to something authentic and beautiful.  Here are the wonderful Gillian Welch and David Rawlings with their Oscar-nominated song 'When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings.'"

Earlier in the night, Kacey and her husband walked the glamour red carpet for the Oscars in Hollywood.
