Maren Morris' Nashville show last night at the Ryman gave fans a bunch of surprises as Miranda Lambert and Grammy winner Brandi Carlile joined Morris on stage.

Lambert joined Morris along with Nashville songwriter Natalie Hemby to sing “Virginia Bluebell,” a cut from Miranda's 2009 album Revolution. The trio also teamed up on Morris’ “I Wish I Was.”

“I love Maren Morris,” Miranda said. “She’s a badass.”

As she strummed the opening chord of her first chart-topper, “I Could Use a Love Song,” Morris told the audience about trying to get it into rotation at radio, but a man who worked at one station told her, "People don't want to hear women being sad on the radio."

Morris added, "I was like, 'I'm pretty sure sad songs are what make the world go around, and built country music. What's wrong with being sad? I want to know that I'm not alone in my broken heart. I put this song out anyway, and it took 42 weeks at the chart to finally hit number-one, but this was my first number-one song. And that guy doesn't have his job anymore."

Brandi Carlile also joined Maren on stage to perform “Common,” their duet on the new Girl album.

Morris posted on Instagram, "This moment was not planned but it made my heart explode. @brandicarlile @mirandalambert @cassadeepope @wruckestrike surprising me and coming out during My Church at the SOLD OUT MOTHER CHURCH"

Brandi also posted to Instagram, "So proud to support my GIRL @marenmorris tonight at the mother church of country music alongside @wruckestrike @mirandalambert & @cassadeepope
Women supporting each other is beautiful. You crushed it Maren!"
