Carly Pearce and her fiancé Michael Ray have been hopping the globe together; they recently played Europe and are now playing shows in Australia and posting photos of the fun spots they hit along the way.

She posted on socials this week, "The newest member of our fam" referring to a photo of the couple with a koala bear.

Carly's latest song, “Closer to You,” is about getting closer to the one you love and getting far away from the rest of the world. She says, “I think that’s why I love this song so much, is just getting away from everything with that person that you love.”

When she and Ray aren’t touring and they have time to spend together at home, they love to hop in the car and take day trips together. Pearce shares, “I think that’s extra special. And we definitely love to just get out, just the two of us and get away, kind of runaway.”

Sometimes the happy couple don't go far as one of their favorite date nights is going to Publix, so that they can go home and enjoy some good wine and a home cooked meal.
