Carly Pearce And Michael Ray Fell In Love Over Vodka

Carly Pearce and Michael Ray shined on yesterday's ACM Awards red carpet and and they also presented an award on the show. Today, Carly shares the moment she knew she was in love with the man she is going to marry.

Pearce says, “I think we both posted (on Instagram), ‘One night at the Nashville Palace,’ which is a bar in Nashville, ‘changed everything.’ And I think we could both pinpoint the moment, that we both were sitting at the bar drinking vodka – which we all know I don’t drink vodka, but I was drinking it for him. And we just looked at each other and we knew. And I don’t know how to explain that and I’ve never experienced that before.”

It was her relationship with Michael that inspired Carly to record her latest song, “Closer to You,” because it represents how she feels so well.
