It hasn't been lost on Carly Pearce that many women in country music have cooking shows like Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman, and she wants in on that game.

Carly loves to cook and she loves to work out, and if the opportunity ever presented itself, she would love to combine her passions into a healthy lifestyle cooking show. She says, “I always loved to cook, especially when I moved out and just had my own kitchen, and would love to do something.”

She continues, “I think the reason that you see so many musicians and artists in our genre do it is because it’s just another way of creating things… I look at Trisha and Kimberly and how homey their shows are and I would love to do that but also mix the way that Carrie (Underwood) has her own fitness line and try to do something that was based around clean eating and something that had elements of fitness and what I like and things like that in there.”

Pearce just played the Grand Ole Opry earlier this week posting, 'And the only way to close out my night is to play my favorite stage #opry."

Sh announces CMT Music Award nominees on Tuesday (5/7) on NBC's "Today."
