Luke Bryan To Perform New Single On Idol Finale

Luke Bryan is performing his new single "Knockin' Boots" on the Season 2 finale of ABC’s American Idol this Sunday, May 19. Bryan will also sing with Idol contestant Laci Kaye Booth although the song hasn't yet been revealed.

He posted to Instagram on Sunday, "Next week we find out who the winner will be. Get ready for an awesome #AmericanIdol finale."

"Knocking Boots" follows Luke’s recent 22nd career #1 single “What Makes You Country.”

Additional country performers on the finale include Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown (with Alyssa Raghu), Dan + Shay (with finalist Madison Vandenburg) and Jon Pardi, who will sing with finalist Laine Hardy.

After the American Idol finale, Bryan will launch his “Sunset Repeat Tour” on May 31 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the BB&T Pavilion.

The tour, which will also feature Cole Swindell and Jon Langston, will run through October and it was recently announced the schedule will include two stadiums dates- Gillette Stadium on June 21 and wrapping up the tour in Detroit at Ford Field on October 25.
