Thomas Rhett will take over Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Saturday night as he hosts a huge Center Point Road album release event for his fans all over the world.

Thomas shared with us why he chose to wait a few weeks for the party, "I grew up twenty minutes north of Nashville and we're calling it the 'Center Point Road Experience' and we just decided well, there's gonna be people from all over the world in Nashville let's just invite people who are already going to be there. For 25 bucks all the proceeds go to the Country Music Foundation and they get to hear me play hits that they love and also five or six songs off the new record in a super broken down power acoustic kind of way with a little Q & A."

He added, "We're getting to play Bridgestone this fall, so for the people that didn't get tickets to the fall show they get to come to this in the summer. I think it's gonna be really cool to say that you did and album release event in an arena."

Rhett's Center Point Road album was released on May 31.

Thomas plays at CMA Fest's Nissan Stadium show tonight (6/7).
