When Maren Morris started to post pictures from her recent Playboy shoot, it created a bit of a backlash with fans and Morris immediately fought back.

She posted to Instagram more pictures from the shoot writing "Don't fence me in." To which several country stars like Carly Pearce and Karen Fairchild shared their support.

Then, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Maren said, “The thing about me is, I make music for myself. I learned later that it touches others, which is the most wonderful byproduct of a songwriter’s calling. Some can slut-shame me for my lyrics about sex, and you can put me in your little box, but I just want to live and love.”

Miranda Lambert also supported Morris 100 percent telling the Chicago Sun-Times, “Maren is hot, so I say good for her. Hey, us women, we are doing something right. Let them keep blogging and putting us on magazine covers. We must be important enough to keep talking about.”
