When you think about a big country music artist flying in a private plane to a show, you think of a crew and the star sitting comfortably in the back of the plane and getting some shut eye. Not Dierks Bentley.

Dierks has had a pilot's license to fly his own plane for a while now and takes to the sky quite often. What might be a big different from him flying and Tim McGraw flying with his pilot's license is that Bentley sometimes flies completely solo.

He posted to Instagram yesterday, "Planes #solomission #aviation @blossommusicctr #burningmantour."

Bentley was flying to a show in Ohio where he posted just a few hours later, "@blossommusicctr y’all always give us so much energy. One of my all time favorite venues and always super engaged fans. Thank you! #burningmantour."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
