When Dierks Bentley has a day or two off from touring, he goes on outdoor adventures and his latest took him to the top of a mountain in Wyoming.

Dierks shared on Instagram last night, "The Grand Teton. Wyoming. 7000+ feet of vertical. 18 hours up and down. Some much needed #living. Thanks @blakemycoskie for being the adventure instigator as always and @dougworkman for literally saving my butt a few times. Now off to the @todayshow."

Before the climb yesterday, Dierks posted a video of him climbing an indoor wall getting ready for the real thing. He posted, "The mountains are calling! Headed out on a little adventure. #living."

Bentley gets back on the road this weekend on his "Burning Man Tour" with shows in New York and Pennsylvania.
