Garth Brooks has announced that August 15th is the date for his next "Dive Bar" show at Buck Owens' The Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, California.

Garth says, “There’s a racetrack there that I got to play early [on in my career]," he said, noting that he opened for Reba McEntire there. "And Buck came out with a red, white and blue acoustic guitar.”

Buck Owens himself was also present at the event where Garth popped the question to Trisha back in 2005. Brooks shared, “Buck gave me a red, white and blue Telecaster that night. So, this’ll be fun. We’ll see if we can’t even maybe work up some Buck.”

He plans to play that very Telecaster guitar at the show.

Prior to playing Bakersfield, Garth will be taking the stage for the first international stop on his record-setting Stadium Tour – next weekend, he’s in Regina, Saskatchewan for two shows Friday and Saturday, August 9th and 10th.
