As promised, Miranda Lambert has released a new song today called "Mess With My Head."
She posted to Instagram this morning, "Mess with my Head is out now! This song is a departure from anything that I’ve done before. It has a real rock edge. Part of that comes from my co-writers, @LukeDick and @Wruckestrike, and the other part of that comes from spending time in New York City. Being there has put a new energy into my music and my writing."
The song's chorus says, "I let you mess with my, mess with my head / I let you mess with my, mess with my head / Maybe it's wrong but it feels right to me / Reveling in reverse psychology / You complicate it with your lying lips / I'm waiting on a kiss."
