Harry Potter Fans Are SHOOK After This Tweet From J.K. Rowling

It's been nine years (feeling old yet?) since Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part Two was released, and fans of the franchise are NOT okay after author J.K. Rowling hinted that a new film may be in the works!

Rowling recently broke her 6-month Twitter silence with this:

Fans immediately started speculating that the tweet hinted at a film version of Harry Potter & The Cursed Child (a story written in 2016 by Rowling, but previously only performed as a Broadway play.) Cursed Child takes place where Deathly Hallows: Part Two ended, nineteen years later, with Harry, Ginny, Ron & Hermione as adults, sending their own children off to Hogwarts.

Potterheads have been begging for a Cursed Child movie---especially after the disappointment of the first two Fantastic Beasts spinoff films.

In previous interviews, Daniel Radcliffe has hinted at a reboot of the iconic films, though he didn't specify if he himself would be open to reprising his role as The Boy Who Lived. There's also no word from Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), or Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) on whether they'd return to continue the Harry Potter story.

We're keeping our fingers crossed that not only does this tweet mean we'll finally get another HP movie, but that the original cast will come back together for it!
