Brett Young and his wife Taylor are expecting their first baby girl in mid-October. Young said of his impending fatherhood, “It feels like we’re at a place where we have enough things in the house and in the car that we could keep her alive, which is actually a good feeling, cause that was the goal, to get to the ‘Keep her alive' place. The house took a backseat because the nursery became the important thing, so the house is empty but the nursery’s full. So, we’re gettin’ there.”
While the due date is a little over two weeks away, Brett’s not too nervous because he says, “Everybody gives the same advice – you’re never going to be ready, but then you’ll just figure it out. We’ve heard it from enough people, it must be true. We’re gonna try to stress out as little as possible,” because he jokes, “She’s comin’, whether we like it or not!”
