Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood have spent this week in Nashville working on building homes for Habitat for Humanity with President Jimmy Carter.

Garth says of the program, "One of the greatest examples of love that you’ll ever see in our modern society. What these guys build are a lot more than homes. They build hope. They build love."

The event is staged annually in different areas of the world and U.S. and is part of an ongoing initiative spearheaded by former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn.

This year, the community build is taking place in Nashville. Brooks says, “They’ve got hockey players here. Of course, we have the President and First Lady, Miss Rosalynn, here as well. The governor was out building with us.”

Trisha posted to Instagram yesterday, "Day 3 progress @habitatforhumanity ????! I look up to him too ❤️ #habitatcwp."
