Augusta-Richmond County shared it's vision for the future parking program in Downtown Augusta.
The city would like to move forward with an app-based parking plan which would stretch from bridge to bridge, bordered by Greene and Reynolds Street.
The suggested rates are: $1.50 per hour, $50 annual fee for residents, and $25 monthly fee for downtown employees. Suggested paid parking times is Monday-Saturday, 8a-8p.
Keep in mind, this is still the preliminary plan and no final decisions have been made as our city leaders are still gathering public feedback.
