Luke Combs releases his new album What You See Is What You Get on Friday (11/9). "I think it's all just been me being nothing but myself," he told us. "My parents instilled in me early on that, you get out of something what you put into it. So the second I picked the guitar up at 21, which is only eight years ago, which is absolutely insane to me, and wrote my first song seven years ago and to be here, you know, with six number ones is I don't think something that I ever thought would happen.  I also don't necessarily feel like that surprised by it. Maybe just because when I when I picked a guitar up and it started to make sense to me, I knew that I had found something that I felt like I was meant to do."

He added, "It was like, this is what I'm supposed to be doing. This is my job. This is everything. It's my hobby.  It's my passion. This is always who I've been and just being focused on that goal was I think the reason that I ended up here. It wasn't like pick the guitar up and say, 'I want to break this record and do that.' It was like, 'Okay, I want to be able to play this song on guitar.' After a while that turns into 'I want to play the stadium instead of playing arenas.' But they're all steps that are achievable because they're this close to each other."

Luke posted to Instagram this morning, "TOMORROW! Who’s ready?!"
