When Garth Brooks won the CMA's Entertainer of the Year honor on Wednesday night (11/13) in Nashville, not everyone was happy about it; Carrie Underwood's fans sounded off about it pretty loudly on social media after the show.

But, Eric Church, who was also nominated in the Entertainer category, seems to be a bit upset himself. At least it looks that way; it seems like he took a shot at Brooks during his show over the weekend in Washington DC.

While some in the crowd cheered, in the final verse of a cover of Waylon Jennings' "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way," (a song which took shots at country music)  Eric sang, "Singing my songs, and one of his now and then / But I don't think Hank done 'em this way, no / I don't think Hank done 'em this way" changing the words to "And I know Garth didn't do it this way."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
