Carrie Underwood was one of the stars that paid tribute to Linda Ronstadt at the Kennedy Center Honors, which aired on Sunday night.

Carrie sang two songs on the show including "Blue Bayou" and "When Will I Be Loved," with the icon herself clapping Underwood on. When Carrie was done singing she blew Linda a kiss.

Underwood posted to Instagram after the event, "I was so honored to finally meet the phenomenal #LindaRonstadt, a true artist and versatile vocalist who excelled at performing all kinds of music. I hope I made you proud, Linda. #KCHonors #BlueBayou #WhenWillIBeLoved #Inspired."

Trisha Yearwood also performed for her idol that night with Aaron Neville on his duet with Ronstadt, "Don't Know Much."
