Jimmie Allen took time last night to honor the other family killed in the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash that killed him and his daughter.

Jimmie posted to Instagram, "Sending prayers out to the Altobelli family. The other family in the Helicopter with Kobe and his daughter So sorry for the loss. Sad Day ???? #RIPJohnKeriAlyssa."

Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri, and their 13-year-old daughter, Alyssa, died in Sunday's helicopter crash. The family is survived by two other children, son J.J. and daughter Lexi.

The Washington Post reports that Altobelli grew close to Kobe Bryant while their daughters competed together on a basketball team coached by Bryant. Both families were headed to a tournament in Thousand Oaks, California when the helicopter carrying them crashed and burst into flames.
