Just a few days after his death at age 81, Kenny Rogers' family has asked people donating in his name to make their donations to th COVID-19 fund.

Rogers' Instagram account posted yesterday, "Several people have asked where donations can be made in Kenny's name. We suggest the @recordingacademy & @musicares COVID-19 Relief Fund to help music creators/professionals without work during the coronavirus pandemic. Kenny always wholeheartedly supported musicians, crew members & music personnel. You can make a donation in honor of Kenny here: http://grammy.com/musicares."

Kenny passed away on Friday night of natural causes at a Georgia hospice. Many stars took to their social media accounts to honor the music icon and his good friend and duet partner Dolly Parton was one of the first on Saturday morning.

She posted a video to Instagram saying in part, "I’ve had so many wonderful years and wonderful times with my friend Kenny, but above all the music and the success I loved him as a wonderful man and a true friend."

Reba was one of the first to respond to Dolly post writing, "Dolly he sure loved you. What a character. There never has been and never will be another one like him. Love you."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
