Joe Diffie Dead At 61 From Coronavirus
Joe Diffie, known for his list of country hits during the 1990’s, has died today due to complications of COVID-19, a spokesperson revealed this afternoon. Diffie was diagnosed with the virus earlier last week. Friday, he became the first country star to go public with a coronavirus diagnosis.
Diffie was a member of the Grand Ole Opry for 25 years, and had more than 20 top 10 country hits, 5 that went to number 1 on the charts.
