Thomas Rhett’s latest single, “Beer Can’t Fix,” with Jon Pardi, is now his latest top ten single; he's been a staple on country radio for years. But he says that he's always excited when he hears his songs on the radio.

As a matter of fact, Thomas vividly remembers the first time it happened, “I was driving from Los Angeles to Vegas, and there was a station in between those two routes that had told us what exact time they were gonna play my song. And so me and one of my radio reps, George Briner, turned the radio to that station. I still have the video somewhere on an old iPad of us filming ourselves in the car listening to that first single for the first time, and those are things you just don’t forget.”

He adds, “Here we are, so much time later, and every time I hear a song that I’ve written for somebody else or a song that I’m singing on the radio, it really does feel just a special as day one.”
