Ticket holders are NOT happy with this new Ticketmaster policy. Ticketmaster, one of the world’s leading ticket sales platforms, is adjusting its policy on refunds & exchanges after the COVID-19 pandemic caused the postponement of pretty much every concert throughout early summer.
Ticketmaster’s policy USED to allow for refunds if your event was postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
Now, it states that a refund is only applicable if the event is altogether cancelled.
During these difficult financial times, many fans are outraged that they are ineligible for refunds if their event has been rescheduled or postponed for a later date. A small silver lining lies in some verbiage on the Ticketmaster website, which allows individual promoters to offer refunds at their discretion.
