Brett Young just celebrated his sixth #1 song with “Catch."
As Young told us, he listens to fans when choosing his singles. He says, “With streaming and everything being digital you can kind of watch which songs people are kind of gravitating towards and so it would be a little bit foolish to ignore that.”
Even if Brett thinks he has a plan all mapped out before he releases an album, he says, “It’s crazy how quickly things change. You know, we never know if there’s gonna be a song that all of a sudden, that’s like this anthemic chant from the audience, which all of a sudden is going to move it up to the top of the list. So nothing is set in stone.”
