Unless you’ve been sheltering in place under a rock, you’ve heard of the Netflix documentary, Tiger King, which details the rivalry between big cat owners, including Joe Exotic, Doc Antle and Carole Baskin.

In the documentary, the disappearance of Baskin’s first husband, Don Lewis, became a central storyline. After Lewis’ disappearance, he was declared dead in 1997, and Carole produced a signed will that gave her control over his estate.

Since the release of Tiger King, it has been widely speculated by many—including Don Lewis’ children—that Carole murdered Don in order to inherit his fortune.

Last week, the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting enlisted a handwriting expert to analyze the handwriting on Lewis’ will.

According to the expert, there is significant evidence that his signature on the will was traced. This new info could give Don Lewis’ children the grounds they need to contest the will.
