I’m very much a flag-waver for not getting married too young. It’s a big decision that shouldn’t be entered into lightly, and I don’t think that we’ve fully evolved as people when we’re in our teens, or even early to mid-twenties.
In the case of Chase Smith, however, I’m willing to change my perspective on the issue of marrying before you’re a late twenty-something.
Chase and his girlfriend, Sadie Mills, are seniors in high school, and as with most other high school romances, they are very much in love and are sure that they’ve found “the one.”
Chase was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and told that he has mere months to live. He decided to live those months to the fullest.
Chase and Sadie decided to tie the knot, realizing how precious time is…
What a beautiful reminder to live in the moment, because none of us knows what tomorrow holds. Congratulations, Chase and Sadie!
