Florida Georgia Line have always been huge supporters of our military. On their last tour, they presented military men and women wounded in combat, with all-terrain wheelchairs to give them the freedom to go wherever they want. They also participated in the World’s Biggest USO Show back in 2018, and they have done various fundraisers and events for the men and women who serve our country.

For Brian Kelley, that respect and desire to serve those who serve our country, comes from his late grandfather. He shares, “My grandfather, who I never got to meet, was a World War II Purple Heart recipient, P.O.W. in Moosburg, Germany and his story, his courage, everything I’ve heard about him inspires me to this day.”

Kelley says of the sacrifices our military men and women make, “It’s humbling. Super grateful for our freedom. It’s not free. So God bless all of our vets and servicemen and women. We love y’all.”

Love of country is the subject of FGL’s latest single, “I Love My Country,” which is about loving country music, loving the country lifestyle, and loving the great country of the United States of America.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
