We were so excited to have Ingrid Andress as our latest Mini Concert! You probably know Ingrid from her breakout hit More Hearts Than Mine, but she also just released her debut album. Learn a little more about Ingrid and what she's been up to while being home!

Ingrid wrote The Stranger  about "how love, even when it's real, can be hard sometimes."

Ingrid has been staying busy while being home, including drinking tequila, writing more songs, and trying to get into yoga."I don't really mind all the alone time, but I definitely am starting to miss all my friends and being out on the road."

Ingrid's debut album Lady Like  was released just a few weeks ago and included very personal life events for people to get to know her better. "I wanted to empower people to be who they are and not have to apologize for it and fit into a stereotypical box all the time."

More Hearts Than Mine  is a special song for Ingrid because it's about her family. "I wrote this song for whoever has the privilege of meeting my family because they are amazing. At the end of the day, family is all we have."

Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
