Luke Combs was up early this morning (June 8) to announce on Instagram his new single.
Luke posted, “Excited to announce ‘Lovin’ on You’ will be my next single on country radio.”
Combs told us of the song he co-wrote, “I just kind of had that idea lovin’ on you, and wanted to write something fun, real kind of country and honky tonky kind of thing. I was just in the throws of love and there we go, that’s kind of it.”
He added, “Fun song, wrote it with Ray [Fulcher] and James McNair and Thomas Archer. Me and Thomas wrote ‘Hurricane’ together, me and Ray wrote ‘When It Rains It Pours’ together and seven other songs on the album, and then me and James wrote I think three songs on the record together.”
