Brett Young premiered the official music video today (6/17) for his new single “Lady.”
Young said, “In this chapter of my life, it is the most obvious choice for a first single as we’re putting out new music, and so I hope it’s as meaningful to people listening that have children or a family or are planning to.”
“Lady” is special to Brett and his wife, Taylor. He says, “I can’t wait till my daughter (Presley, who is 8 months old) is old enough to hear it and understand it and know that Daddy wrote her a song before she was even here with us. But it’s a special song for me and I hope it really resonates with people.”
Young joined fans on the YouTube premiere just minutes ago saying hi to fans and hoping that "everyone love this."
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think.
