86-year old Nancy Connor spent her stimulus check on turning her front yard into a ‘zoo’ to cheer up her neighbors.

In the feature from WJAR News, Nancy said that she hated seeing passersby looking sad and decided to find a way to make them smile. She says the smiles on people’s faces have been worth all of the time and money.

An 86-year-old Pawtucket woman has taken a walk on the wild side creating a "zoo" right in her front yard. There’s a sight to see down Riverview Avenue in Pawtucket where Nancy Connor has recently done some work on her lawn.
