WATCH: Young Basketball Player Stops Game To Help Shorter Teammate Make A Play
There are SO many things about this that will restore your faith in the future generation of our world.
This video posted on Reddit shows a youth basketball team and the players working together in the sweetest way possible.
Player #50 took the ball and stopped mid-play to give his much shorter teammate the chance to make a play. As Reddit users pointed out in the comments, player #25 also deserves credit for passing the ball to #50 instead of taking the shot himself.
The opposing team also showed great sportsmanship for not taking the ball back during the play–a nod to some presumably great coaching, not only in basketball, but in kindness.
The parents and coaches of these young men should be so proud!
