Tim McGraw will release his new album, Here on Earth, on August 21st.

Tim just released the title track of the album, and he says, “Here on Earth, first off, it’s the title track to the album because it says everything that I wanted to say with the scope of the album, it says it within that song in particular. It sort of goes through the stages of life.”

McGraw also revealed that throughout his career, he has always tried to make the third song on his albums an interesting or impactful song like “Here on Earth,” that will draw people in. He said, “After you’ve listened to the first and second song, when you get to the third song you want something that sort of keeps everybody interested, and I think that that song does that. I hope it does that, anyway.”

“I Called Mama,” the first release from the forthcoming album sits in the top 20 on the country charts this week.
