Ryan Hurd co-wrote "Worldwide Beautiful" along with Kane Brown, who released the song not long after the protests following the death of George Floyd.

Ryan told us, "I loved writing with Kane on 'Worldwide Beautiful.' It was such a powerful day just with Shy (Carter) and Kane in the room and me and Jordan (Schmidt). And, I just loved hearing those guys’ experience and Kane really did have a heart for saying what we said in the song. And, it’s hard thing to talk about race, I think, when you’re aiming at the radio generally when you’re writing country music."

He added, "The coolest part of this song is it’s really important, the lyrics are really special and, especially in a time that’s really divisive. To have something, a piece of work, that, it’s intent is to truly bring people together, and also talk about Kane’s experience. And it’s also, I think, a hit song. It’s kind of really fun to hit, you know, both of those targets. But, I love writing with Kane. He’s an incredible writer and just getting an opportunity to be in the room that day was really special."
