Mara's mother passed away last year and before she died, she recorded a special voice message for Mara and placed it in a Build-A-Bear.

Unfortunately, a bag containing the bear was stolen during a recent move, and when Mara's internet plea to find the bear went viral, Ryan Reynolds stepped up to offer a cash reward of $5,000 dollars.

Mara was reunited with the bear this week, after two men recognized the thief in security footage that Mara has shared online.

I'm so happy that Mara's story had a happy ending! I'm not an overly materialistic person, but some sentimental items are irreplaceable--I have cabbage patch kid that Santa brought me when I was three, and I'd be heartbroken if I ever lost her!
