Folklore

Taylor Swift released a surprise album, Folklore, last week, and the first time I listened to it all the way through, it immediately reminded me of her 2012 album, Red.

Red was Taylor’s final country album, so the thought crossed my mind that Folklore could possibly spawn another country single.  Sure enough, Taylor has announced that Folklore’s fourteenth track, “Betty,” will be released as a single to country radio.

I’m still not used to potty-mouthed Taylor, and the explicit version of Folklore contains LOTS of cussing–including “Betty,” which features a big, fat F-word the chorus. (The edited version of the album replaces the line, “Tell me to go f*** myself” with “Tell me to go straight to hell.”)
