They've been all over my Facebook & Instagram feeds, so I decided to give 'em a try: blue light blocking glasses.

I wore glasses & contacts for most of my life before having laser eye surgery in 2016. Although my vision is still great, I spend so much of my day in front of a screen that I've started experiencing symptoms of eye strain, like headaches & trouble sleeping.

So, I bit the bullet and bought a pair of blue light blocking glasses on Amazon.

Although the science is sketchy about whether or not blue light glasses actually work, I've heard from many friends who swear by them. Plus, I figured that $20 dollars wasn't a bad investment if they reduced some of my eye strain symptoms.

Maybe it's all in my head, but after a week of wearing them, I haven't had any headaches after a long day in front of the computer. I've also been sleeping much better, waking much more rested (despite skipping my afternoon naps for the past two weeks!)

Have you tried blue light blocking glasses? Have you noticed a difference, or nah? Let me know on Facebook & Instagram

While we're on the subject, check out some of my freshest frames through the years (don't judge me...)
