Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild celebrates her 51st birthday today (9/28.) Her band, which has been together since 1998, has had some amazing songs in country music and beyond. We count down the best Little Big Town songs from 10 to number one.

10. "Painkiller"

The title track from their breakout 2014 Painkiller album.

9. "Summer Fever"

A song my daughter just couldn't get enough of, and as the child of someone in country music, she claims not to like the genre. Plus, this one is major catchy and fun.

8. "Tornado"

Another title track. This time, it's from their 2012 album.

7. "Day Drinking"

The group actually started a line of adult beverages on the name of this song, and it does make you want to pop a top in the middle of the day.

6. "Little White Church"

Pure Little Big Town gold.

5. "Boondocks"

An early favorite of mine from LBT and sold platinum in 2005.

4. "Pontoon"

Love it or hate it, this song put these guys on the music map for good. (And by the way, I love it.)

3. "Better Man"

This Taylor Swift-written song is just magical and says it just like it should. The song won a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and was also nominated for Best Country Song for Swift at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

2. "The Daughters"

Performed for the first time on an ACM Award show, this song was on the groups' 2019 Nightfall album.

1. "Girl Crush"

Just wow. This song is just amazing from the lyrics to the music to the vocal from Karen. It sold over 5 million copies and won two Grammys, including Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song in 2015.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
