This week Backstage Country Powered by Intellisystems, hosted by Luke Combs. Luke Combs made his impact on country music in 2016 with the release of his debut single “Hurricane” and he hasn’t stopped yet.

With Entertainer of the Year nominations from both the ACM and The CMA’s this year (2020), Combs continues to shine as his latest album What You See Is What You Get enjoyed the largest streaming week ever for a country album with 74 million on-demand streams upon its release in November 2019.

In addition, his steaming hot career includes the fact that he was the only country artist to perform on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” Season 45 in January and last summer was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

His previous album This One’s For You is certified RIAA Triple Platinum and was also the most-streamed country album of 2019.

His personal life is great as well as in August (2020) he married his wife Nicole in a small ceremony in Florida.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
