Dan Smyers Puts His Christmas Tree Up Early

With the release of their first Christmas single "Take Me Home For Christmas" Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay and his wife Abby are really getting into the Christmas spirit early as the couple purchased a giant Christmas tree for their Nashville area home.
Dan posted a time lapse video of the couple putting up the tree to Instagram. He wrote, "Any other year, it would probably be too early...but hey, it’s 2020 AND we released our first original Christmas song, so why not! Hopefully 'Take me home for Christmas' brings a bit of feel-good into your world this holiday season."
He added, "If you’re crazy like us and have already decorated, drop a comment and let us know. @abbysmyers @balsamhill."
Dan + Shay
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think.
