Carly Pearce Warns The ‘Next Girl’ On The Kelly Clarkson Show

Is Carly Pearce throwing shade at Michael Ray in her new song? She insists that the song was NOT written about Michael, but after opening up about her divorce last week, (and the news that Michael appears to be dating Travis Tritt’s daughter), it’s hard not to read between the lines.
“He’ll charm your mama with that smile, hide the red flags for a little while,” Carly sings in ‘Next Girl.’
Carly performed the song (virtually, of course) on The Kelly Clarkson Show last week.
